As an expanding Bus/Coach operator I know there is a need to reduce down time of vehicles that come off the road due to emission problems.
Approximately nine months ago I was approached by Paul Widdowson of Efficient Fuel Technology with regards to Dipetane a fuel treatment recommended to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. At first I was very sceptical regarding this product but having heard some good feedback I decided to try it in a few of our buses. Within a few weeks we found the buses were running smoother with greatly reduced emission problems and less down time.
I now does the bulk tank with Dipetane in order that the whole fleet benefits and I have seen a marked improvement in our fuel economy. My next step is to install a dosin system that will add Dipetane at the pump automatically when the fleet is being fuelled.
I recommend Dipetane to anyone who wishes to lower their fuel costs, emissions and maintenance on their vehicles.

In a very short time we noticed that the buses needed less fuel each day when refuelling and after 3 weeks we were able to calculate that the improvement in MPG was over 7%.

We have examined Dipitane as a fuel additive in two articulated trucks transporting material for us on a regular basis. We have used the Dipitane in one truck and left the other as a control (both trucks were travelling the same route approx. 300 miles roundtrip /day).We have found that the truck using the Dipitane had lower consumption of fuel in the order of 9%.It is clear that “it does what it says on the tin”. Furthermore it makes absolute scientific sense that if we get a more complete burn of the carbon element in the fuel that this will automatically translate to greater energy output. We plan to examine the potential of the additive to add value within our industrial process.

We have been using Dipetane for a year and a half. We were having issues with engines running poorly and filters getting blocked with a brown sludge. We were changing the diesel filters on the machines every 250 to 300 hours and the diesel filter in our diesel tank every three to six months. Since we have started using Dipetane we have found that the brown sludge that was in the filters has disappeared and we don’t have to change our filters as often as we had to.
We have 9 different vehicles and we don’t have any issues anymore with any of them and they appear to be running a lot better. We also notice when we change the engine oils in the vehicles that the engine oil is not as black and burnt as before. In our opinion this is a fantastic product and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

“My car failed the NCT on the first test. I had heard about Dipetane and decided to see if it would solve my emission problem and help me to pass on the re-test.
I was amazed at the results which completely surpassed my expectations.
The CO2 level was 96% below the pass level on low idle and 90% below on high idle.
I flew past the re-test and am using Dipetane regularly since.

“My car had failed the NCT with a smoke emission level of 5.25. It is a fuel injected Saab turbo diesel 9-3. I got a recommendation to try Dipetane and I used it for a month and then did a re-test. It was very easy to use as the bottle has clear instructions on how much to add each time I filled the tank. When the car was tested again the emission level for C02 was 1.9. This was well below the standard of 3.0 and way below my original fail level of 5.25.
I am delighted with it and it saved me money since I never had to bring the car to my garage. It is now driving better and definitely achieving improved fuel consumption. “I’m a service-breakdown operator in carlow. I’ve been using two stroke oil in my diesel for the past three years now in everything we drive and the results on both fuel consumption and emissions are great. About four months ago I started to add Dipetane to the mix thinking it won’t do any harm. I can tell you now that my wife’s car a 03 GTI golf with 170 thousand miles is going better than i could have ever imagined. With her NCT due in two weeks i’m looking for the old test to see how much better it’ll do this time. It’s saving us big-time to spend the money on what we’re doing. I keep going to the golf because of the mpg gauge that is in it but the sprinter is feeling it in the pocket too without any gauge to tell me of the results. We bought the golf four years ago and at the time it was doing just over 42 mpg, a service and a little two stroke (0.5 %) took it to 48, however adding Dipetane has added to those great results. Now on a bad day it’s coming in at 53/54 mpg and on long journeys I’ve had it up to 62 mpg……….not bad for an old golf that’s got that sort of miles.
I’ll post you the results of the NCT if I can find last years, I know it’ll be blown away by using Dipetane and the results will back up that.
